Key Responsibilities- Facilitate a Learning Culture: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring that our nursing team is equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Maintain Professional Relationships: Develop and maintain professional and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners, using a customer service mindset to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Provide Clinical Operational Direction: Coordinate the delivery of nursing care that is evidence-based, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.
- Manage Resources: Be accountable and responsible for the effective daily management of human, financial, and material resources.
- Coordinate Quality Improvement Initiatives: Drive clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives to ensure that our nursing practice is aligned with best practice.
- Undertake Direct Patient Care: As required, undertake direct patient care to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.
- Current Registration: Current registration with AHPRA is essential.
- Working with Children Check: A current Working with Children check is required.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in orthopaedic, neurology, or surgical nursing is required.
- Rotational Night Shifts: Must be able to work rotational night shifts.
- Previous Experience: Current or previous ANUM, shift manager, or clinical nurse specialist experience is desirable.
- Clinical Knowledge: Sound clinical knowledge is essential.
- Compliance: Compliance with ACQSHC National standards is required.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- Positive Role Modelling: Positive role modelling behaviours are required.
- Customer Service Focus: Excellent customer service focus, time management, and prioritisation skills are essential.
- Dynamic Environment: Ability to manage a dynamic and changing environment is required.
- Computer Literacy: High degree of computer literacy, including MS Office and various databases, is essential.
