Stream Talent is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Unit Manager to lead our Oncology Ward team.
About the RoleWe are looking for a skilled and compassionate Nurse Unit Manager to provide clinical leadership and guidance to our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, managing resources, and promoting a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the Oncology Ward team
- Manage human, financial, and material resources to ensure efficient and effective patient care
- Coordinate the delivery of evidence-based nursing care
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Working with Children check
- Previous experience at NUM level or equivalent (min. 3 years local experience)
- Compliance with ACSQHC National standards
- Strong commitment to development in a management role
- Computer literacy, including MS Office and various databases
- Ability to work cohesively within a team environment
- Proven time management and prioritization skills
- Sound knowledge base in labor management
- Demonstrated HR management experience
