Nurse Unit Manager

Frontline Health Melbourne is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Unit Manager to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing unit, ensuring high-quality patient care, and managing budgets and resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of care
- Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of resources
- Provide ongoing education and training to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Working with Children Check
- Minimum of 3 years of local experience at the NUM level or in a similar role
- Compliance with ACSQHC National Standards
- Strong commitment to professional development in a management capacity
- Proficient in computer use, including MS Office and various databases
- Demonstrated skills in time management
- Experience in HR management
- Bachelor degree in Nursing
- Postgraduate qualification in Advanced Nursing Practice or Cancer Care
