Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Risk Lead to join our team. This role will play a critical part in delivering strategic credit risk outcomes across the nCino platform and broader Tribe initiatives.

About the Role

This is a 6-month fixed term position that requires an active member of nCino squads, ensuring delivery of key credit risk priorities in line with business objectives. You will be responsible for providing expert input on credit policy and process across both Consumer and Business Lending.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Be an active member of nCino squads, ensuring delivery of key credit risk priorities in line with business objectives.
  2. Provide expert input on credit policy and process across both Consumer and Business Lending.
  3. Identify credit-related risks in projects and processes, ensuring these are documented, escalated, and mitigated effectively.
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders across the Build and Run My Business Tribe to embed controls and deliver process improvements.
  5. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, risk awareness, and capability uplift within the team and wider business.

Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of credit risk management practices, particularly in SME, Rural, or Commercial banking.
  • Deep understanding of ASB Credit Policy (Consumer and Business Lending).
  • Demonstrated experience influencing stakeholders and challenging the status quo to enhance processes and reduce risk.
  • Excellent analytical, planning, and organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
