Facilities Maintenance Specialist

This role involves performing ongoing maintenance and repairs on building systems, including mechanical, electrical, and other equipment.

About the Position:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting routine inspections, diagnosing potential issues, and implementing solutions to ensure optimal system performance.

  • Maintain and repair building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement and implement cost-effective solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Develop and maintain detailed work orders and reports to track progress and identify trends.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to established safety protocols and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with 1-2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy objects, as well as climb ladders and stairs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as needed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
