Geology Expert Role

  • About the Job:
  • This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your geology expertise in a diverse and dynamic role. You will engage with clients and users at both a technical and commercial level, providing world-class support throughout their entire lifecycle.
  • You will work closely with the global Expert Services team, collaborating on various projects and initiatives that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality technical training, system support, and project assistance services to customers.
  • Use your problem-solving skills to help customers with complex issues, acting as a customer advocate by providing feedback to product development teams.
  • Become an expert user of our products, conducting demos, webinars, and supplying information about products prior to sale.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction levels and consistently work to improve outcomes and experiences.
  • Identify and create sales opportunities by proactively contacting customers and potential customers.
  • Travel to city and regional offices and mine sites.

Requirements:

  • A tertiary qualification in Geoscience with proven experience in Australian or Overseas resource mining markets.
  • Minimum 4 years geology experience in either an Exploration or Mine Geologist role and exposure to 3D Geological Modelling Software.
  • Excellent communication skills at a highly technical and professional level.
  • Experience and solid understanding of the exploration and/or mining production environment.
  • Customer-focused with a desire to achieve win-win solutions.
  • Ability to work well with other team members and provide support and assistance.
