**Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow established recipes and techniques while maintaining consistency in product quality.
  • Mix, shape, and proof doughs for breads and pastries according to our production schedule.
  • Monitor baking times and temperatures to achieve perfect results.
  • Assist in developing new recipes and refining existing products to expand the bakery's offerings.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the baking area, following food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Manage inventory of baking ingredients and supplies, ensuring stock levels are sufficient for production needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the bakery team to ensure efficient and smooth operations.

**Requirements:

  • Formal qualifications in baking or pastry arts, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience in a commercial bakery setting, with skills in baking breads, pastries, and other baked goods.
  • Knowledge of sourdough fermentation and pastry techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
  • Ability to work early morning shifts and manage time efficiently in a busy bakery environment.
