Senior Care Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Care Specialist to provide high-quality nursing care to residents in our residential aged care home.

About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for an individual with a strong passion for delivering exceptional care. As a Senior Care Specialist, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans that cater to the unique needs of each resident.

  • Provide direct clinical nursing care to residents in accordance with best practice procedures
  • Act as Team Leader, guiding and supporting personal care staff to deliver high-quality care
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all policies and procedures
Key Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification
  • A thorough understanding of Aged Care Legislation and Quality Standards
  • Demonstrated expertise in AN-ACC assessment processes
  • Strong clinical knowledge of age-related health issues
  • Excellent coaching/training skills
  • Effective conflict resolution skills with high emotional intelligence
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Competency in IT systems
