Injury Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced professional to join our team as an Injury Management Specialist. As a key member of our Department for Education, Children and Young People team, you will play a critical role in providing high-level support and advice to managers, principals, and other clients in relation to workers compensation claims, injury management, rehabilitation, return to work, and other related processes.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake complex case management of workers compensation claims
- Provide high-level support and advice to managers, principals, and other clients
- Develop and implement effective injury management and rehabilitation strategies
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, including the Workers Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988
- High-level experience in undertaking complex case management of workers compensation claims
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation and regulations
- Well-developed organisation and administrative skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management or a relevant field
- Significant background in Human Resources Management
- Statement of Attainment as an Injury Management Coordinator or Certificate IV in Personal Injury Management
