We are seeking a highly experienced professional to join our team as an Injury Management Specialist. As a key member of our Department for Education, Children and Young People team, you will play a critical role in providing high-level support and advice to managers, principals, and other clients in relation to workers compensation claims, injury management, rehabilitation, return to work, and other related processes.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake complex case management of workers compensation claims
- Provide high-level support and advice to managers, principals, and other clients
- Develop and implement effective injury management and rehabilitation strategies
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services
- Maintain accurate records and reports, and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- High-level experience in undertaking complex case management of workers compensation claims
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders
- Knowledge and understanding of the Workers Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988, and other relevant legislation
- Ability to interpret and apply industrial and legislative provisions
- Well-developed organisation and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status - Employment) is required
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management or other relevant field
- Significant background in Human Resources Management
- Statement of Attainment as an Injury Management Coordinator, or Certificate IV in Personal Injury Management
