About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Account Director to lead our B2B client accounts within the finance sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive PR strategies tailored to the unique needs of the finance sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Leadership: Serve as the primary point of contact for high-profile financial clients, ensuring strong relationships and seamless communication.
  • Strategic Development: Lead the development and execution of PR strategies, including media relations, thought leadership, content creation, and reputation management.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee and mentor a team of account managers and PR professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and excellence.
  • Campaign Execution: Manage the end-to-end delivery of PR campaigns, ensuring they are executed on time, within budget, and achieve measurable results.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities for account growth and lead new business pitches within the finance sector.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with media, influencers, and key stakeholders in the finance industry to maximize client visibility and reputation.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Account Director or Senior Account Manager in a PR agency, preferably with a focus on B2B and finance clients.
  • Deep knowledge of the finance sector and an understanding of the unique PR challenges and opportunities within this industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute impactful PR strategies.
  • A network of media and industry contacts within the finance sector is highly desirable.
