Public Relations Manager

We are excited to announce a search for an outstanding Public Relations & Media Relations Manager to collaborate with a globally recognized children's music group. Key Responsibilities:
- Fostering and nurturing robust relationships with prominent media outlets across Australia, ensuring the brand remains highly visible and positively represented.
- Formulating and executing media strategies that resonate with brand principles while effectively managing reputational risks to safeguard the brand's esteemed image.
- Overseeing sponsorship initiatives, ensuring successful partnerships that enhance brand recognition.
- Collaborating with the social media team to design and implement campaigns that captivate our audience and elevate brand awareness.
- Promoting the brand's tours across Australia and New Zealand, orchestrating efforts for optimal impact.
- Working in close partnership with PR teams in international markets to ensure cohesive and aligned public relations campaigns.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Contributing creative insights to campaign development.
- Managing promotional events from inception to execution.
- Preparing and presenting PR activity reports to senior leadership.
Candidate Profile:
- 7-10 years of experience in public relations, with a preference for candidates from the entertainment or television sectors.
- A resourceful PR professional with a talent for identifying compelling stories, exceptional writing and editing skills, and strong presentation capabilities.
- A creative thinker who thrives in dynamic environments, consistently bringing innovative ideas to the forefront.
- A collaborative team member who values feedback and works towards collective objectives.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality, maintaining the integrity of the brand.
- A proficient multitasker, adept at managing various projects and deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
Additional Requirements:
- As a brand committed to children, a Working With Children Check (WWCC) and a National Police Check are prerequisites.
- This position is primarily based at the company's headquarters, with an expectation of on-site work.
