About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mine Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Glencore. This is a permanent position that offers a range of opportunities across our multi-pit mining operations and complex hydrometallurgical process plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement maintenance plans for Operational Technology (OT) systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Maintain and enhance in-pit communication infrastructure to achieve full coverage.
  • Support the integration of CAS systems with Murrin Murrin operations.
  • Monitor and respond to network and system incidents, ensuring OT security.
  • Liaise with IT to protect systems and data, managing OT system requirements.
  • Conduct maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvements for OT systems, including collision avoidance.
  • Collaborate with third-party providers and support change management processes.

About You

This role would suit a proficient systems specialist who has:

  • Tertiary qualification in a STEM discipline.
  • WA 'C' class driver's licence.
  • Proficiency in Wi-Fi mesh networks, RF, and collision avoidance technologies.
  • Experience with mobile equipment and technology systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn OT and communication systems.
  • Exceptional computer skills, including integrated management systems and office applications.
