About this role:

We are seeking a senior governance risk compliance lawyer to join our General Counsel and Risk Department.

The role will report directly to our General Counsel & Company Secretary and act as her second-in-command in the legal function.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing responses to claims and complaints
  • Managing business acceptance processes including conflicts clearance
  • Leading a team of 5

The ideal candidate will have experience as a conflicts lawyer or within an Office of General Counsel, or a senior lawyer with relevant corporate commercial litigation and/or compliance company secretarial experience.

A strong leader with excellent communication problem-solving skills analytical skills and attention to detail is required to succeed in this role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Dentons' business acceptance processes including conflicts clearance, overseeing responses to claims and complaints, and leading a team of 5.

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced lawyer to take on a leadership role and make a real impact in the legal function.
