Job Description:

As a senior lawyer, you will be responsible for providing executive-level legal advice to the CEO and Board, ensuring alignment of legal frameworks with corporate strategy and objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality legal guidance to support business decisions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the development and implementation of risk management strategies to protect the organisation's interests.
  • Oversight of corporate governance as Company Secretary, ensuring best practice across Board and Committee operations.
  • Manage high-value transactions including contracts, agreements, and partnerships.

 

Candidate Profile:
  • 15+ years' post-admission experience in-house with an energy or infrastructure organisation.
  • Demonstrated leadership of legal teams and direct engagement with Boards and C-Suites.
  • Strong expertise in corporate governance, risk management, and high-value commercial transactions.
  • A commercial mindset, strong negotiation skills, and ability to balance strategic opportunity with disciplined risk management.

Requirements:
