Position Overview:

The Senior HR Advisor for Remuneration will play a pivotal role in delivering expert remuneration, benefits, and policy guidance. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, Corporate, this position is essential for executing key HR processes, including WGEA reporting and the annual remuneration review.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity located in our West Perth office, conveniently situated near public transport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive salary analyses and provide informed salary recommendations based on external market data and internal comparisons.
  • Oversee the organization-wide remuneration review process.
  • Manage bonus and incentive programs, including employee communications and coordination with payroll.
  • Advise business leaders and stakeholders regarding incentive schemes.
  • Review, update, and enhance existing HR policies and procedures.
  • Research, benchmark, draft, finalize, and publish new policies and procedures.
  • Take charge of the biannual Aon submissions.
  • Prepare and submit data for annual WGEA reporting, communicate findings, and assist with ad hoc reporting.
  • Support the exploration of new systems to streamline HR processes.
  • Guide and assist in the design and implementation of new systems, including managing change processes.

Candidate Profile:

  • Possess formal tertiary qualifications in HR, Business, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated extensive experience in HR Remuneration or Generalist roles, preferably within the mining sector.
  • In-depth understanding of remuneration and benefits processes and best practices.
  • Current knowledge of various HRIS, including their implementation, management, and optimization.
  • Familiarity with HR organizational policies and practices.
  • Advanced analytical capabilities, particularly with MS Excel and PowerBI.
  • Experience with WGEA Reporting and Aon submissions is highly regarded.
