Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead a team of 2 workshop technicians in a fast-paced workshop environment.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a small team. They should have a good understanding of Australian Standards relevant to fire equipment servicing and be able to manage stock control processes effectively.

The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing daily workshop operations, ensuring workplace efficiency and high-quality standards. They will also be required to develop and implement efficient workplace procedures to optimize productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and work alongside a team of 2 workshop technicians.
  • Oversee daily workshop operations to ensure workplace efficiency and high-quality standards.
  • Ensure all processes comply with Australian Standards.
  • Manage stock control, including ordering consumables and maintaining stock levels for service needs.
  • Develop and implement efficient workplace procedures to optimize productivity.
  • Liaise regularly with other supervisors and technicians regarding stock and production needs.
  • Assist with internal and external audit processes.
