Workshop Supervisor Job Description

The Workshop Supervisor will lead a team of workshop technicians, overseeing daily operations and ensuring workplace efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and work alongside a team of workshop technicians.
  • Oversee stock control, including ordering consumables and maintaining stock levels for service needs.
  • Develop and implement efficient workplace procedures to optimize productivity.
  • Liaise regularly with the store person, other supervisors, and portable technicians regarding stock and production needs.
  • Assist with internal and external audit processes.

Requirements:

  • Leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a small team.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage stock control processes effectively.
  • Strong focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a workshop or production environment, preferably in a supervisory or team leader role.

Applicants must be willing to actively participate in workshop tasks as needed. On-the-job training will be provided to ensure a clear understanding of compliance and workplace expectations.
