Vehicle Valuation and Acquisition Specialist

This role is responsible for providing the used-car sales department with a supply of marketable used cars, assisting the Procurement Manager in maximising sales opportunities through effective valuing and buying trade stock.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Valuing vehicles offered for trade-in to ensure optimal pricing for resale;
  • Arranging direct purchase of stock to meet the trading needs of the used car sales centres;
  • Actioning online valuation leads to secure additional revenue streams;
  • Supporting retail sites by achieving monthly vehicle acquisition targets;
  • Maintaining a suitable stock mix to cater to customer demand;
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships within the team to ensure seamless communication;
  • Providing supporting documentation for all deals within approved timeframes;

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Mechanical skills or experience to effectively assess vehicle value;
  • An ability to provide an exceptional customer experience through effective communication and problem-solving;
  • A valid driver's license to enable transportation of vehicles as required;
  • The ability to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with colleagues and customers alike;
  • Automotive experience to understand market trends and make informed decisions;
