About the Role
This is a challenging opportunity to work in a complex environment and provide high-level policy advice. As Principal Policy Officer, you will be responsible for undertaking complex research and analysis to develop whole of government solutions to cross-agency matters.

Key responsibilities include providing project management skills to lead the development and implementation of projects through engagement with native title organisations and close collaboration with WA Government agencies. You will also evaluate the broader environment to ensure appropriate research and information is available to develop policy options and apply different methodologies to identify whether a policy approach will achieve required outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have strong strategic thinking skills and experience in policy development. They will also have demonstrated strong project management and organisational skills in the context of developing whole of government solutions to complex matters.

Other key skills and qualifications include the ability to effectively communicate complex information to a variety of audiences and build collaborative and productive relationships working with diverse stakeholders across Government and the community.
