Support Worker Position
Job Role Overview:This is a unique opportunity for experienced support workers to join our team in providing exceptional patient care and management services within the Alcohol and Drug Unit.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the administrative team to ensure accurate and timely reporting of workload management and clinical policy development.
- Contribute to building knowledge and capacity within the Alcohol and Drug team by sharing expertise and skills relevant to clinical specialities.
- Utilize advanced reasoning skills to enhance service delivery, focusing on managing complex clients with dual diagnosis.
- Develop and deliver group-based education and interventions tailored to meet individual client needs.
- Demonstrated experience working with/liaising with NDIS programs.
- Proven ability to work effectively with patients presenting with alcohol and drug issues.
- Experience in supporting patients with mental health concerns.
- Ability to assist with child protection and homelessness initiatives.
- Excellent prioritization and independent work skills.
