As an Online Learning Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting and guiding students through their learning journey. You will work with students who are pursuing higher education qualifications and provide them with expert guidance and support to help them achieve their academic goals.
This is a remote-based position that offers flexibility and autonomy. You will be working independently, but as part of a team, to facilitate online learning activities and support students.
Responsibilities:- Deliver planned academic content, learning activities, and assessment tasks, including moderation, assessment, and feedback.
- Facilitate one 3-hour live, synchronous online workshop per unit each week.
- Prepare brief teaching materials, such as slides or activity sheets, as needed.
- A law degree meeting the academic requirements for admission to legal practice in your Australian state or territory.
- TEQSA AQF level 8 qualification or higher.
- 3-5 years of industry experience, preferably as a Lawyer, Solicitor, or Barrister.
- Alternatively, a Masters in Law with significant industry experience or a Ph.D. in Law or a related field.
- High-level written communication skills.
- Strong organization and planning skills.
- Comfort with learning new technologies.
- Empathy for online students' challenges.
- A passion for student success.
