About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile professional to support the educational needs of students in a unique and complex setting.

The successful applicant will work under the direction of the Head of Campus and teaching staff to engage and support students in their education, including literacy and numeracy programs.

Key responsibilities include developing individualised plans for students, providing specialist support in areas such as specific learning needs, language and culture, and health and physical education, and working within a Queensland Police Service (QPS) custodial environment.

What You Will Do

You will work closely with teaching staff to develop and implement educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of students.

This may involve supporting students with specific learning needs, providing literacy and numeracy assistance, and promoting English language skills for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students or those with English as a second language.

Additionally, you will contribute to the development of individualised plans for students, taking into account their strengths, needs, and goals.

Communication is key in this role, as you will interact with students, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of educational services.
