Job Title: Construction Director - Project Manager

Job Summary:

UGL Pty Limited is seeking an experienced Construction Director to lead the delivery of large-scale commercial construction projects, specifically in the management of HV Transmission Lines construction projects from the contractor side.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead teams through the delivery of large-scale commercial construction projects, ensuring successful project outcomes and meeting client objectives.
  • Manage and oversee the construction and project team to ensure compliance with contractual, commercial, IR, and compliance requirements.
  • Develop and implement financial and commercial management strategies to ensure project profitability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project coordination.
  • Ensure adherence to OHS and Environmental legislation, Codes of Practice, and Standards as they apply to the construction industry.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractor organizations and enforce compliance with HSEQ performance measures.

Requirements:

  • 15-20 years of experience in the management of HV Transmission Lines construction projects from the contractor side.
  • Proven experience in leading teams through the delivery of large-scale commercial construction projects.
  • Advanced financial and commercial management skills.
  • Strong contractual, commercial, IR, and compliance management experience.
  • Knowledge of OHS and Environmental legislation, Codes of Practice, and Standards as they apply to the construction industry.
  • Strong background dealing with contractor organizations and enforcing compliance with HSEQ performance measures.
