About the Role

We are seeking a HR Project Coordinator to join our People and Culture team. The successful candidate will coordinate various activities, including projects, meetings, and events, and report key HR metrics. This role offers a variety of experiences and development across a range of people programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Coordination
    • Assist in planning, execution, and monitoring of people and culture projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
    • Develop project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
    • Coordinate day-to-day project activities, manage schedules, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
    • Organize and facilitate project meetings, preparing agendas and notes.
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting notes, and other relevant materials.
    • Prepare and present regular project status reports and performance metrics to the People and Culture Leadership Team.
  • Events and Recognition Programs
    • Manage the Service Awards program, including review of awards and timely preparation and distribution of certificates, pins, and gifts.
    • Support the management of the employee awards program, including coordination of nominations, announcement of winners, and management of the annual event.
    • Assist in delivering events, annual HR processes, and various projects.
  • Implementation and Execution
    • Assist in implementing people and culture initiatives, such as employee engagement programs, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and organizational development activities.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend changes to enhance project execution efficiency.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Formal tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management with two to four years of experience in a project coordination or HR function.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop project plans, manage timelines, and coordinate tasks.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
