Job Title: Insurance Claims Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Insurance Claims Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for managing claims from lodgement through to completion in accordance with our established processes.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • End-to-end management of strata claims within designated authority limits, ensuring timely resolution and meeting Service Level Agreements and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaising with relevant parties to provide regular updates on the progress of claims and leveraging expertise of Team Leader, Technical Specialists and other key stakeholders.
  • Responding to customer inquiries over the phone and via email, providing clear and concise information on claim status and policy coverage.
  • Reviewing expert reports and recommendations, applying policy wording to determine policy coverage and response.
  • Conducting evaluations and basic investigatory tasks by gathering and documenting relevant information within our systems as required.
  • Communicating claim decisions to brokers and customers in writing.
  • Providing assistance to team members and identifying opportunities for process improvement to support team achievements and goals.
About You / Qualifications
  • You have previous work experience in a similar role within the property or strata space, with prior exposure to insurance claims handling systems, processes and procedures.
  • You possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • You have a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies, and are flexible in your working arrangements.
