Warehouse Storeperson Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Warehouse Storeperson to manage our warehouse operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing stock, receiving and dispatching orders, and providing excellent customer service.

The Warehouse Storeperson will be involved in the following key tasks:

  • Picking, packing, and dispatching of customer orders in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Booking in freight via online portals and over the phone to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Receiving and storing stock from local suppliers or branch transfers.
  • Loading and unloading of freight trucks to facilitate efficient stock movement.
  • Production-related duties to assemble stock or create custom orders.
  • Manual handling and forklift driving as required to support warehouse operations.
Main Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Ensuring accurate and efficient picking and packing processes to meet customer demands.
  • Effective communication with customers and internal teams to resolve any queries or issues.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Developing and implementing process improvements to enhance warehouse operations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Able to lift heavy loads and work at heights as required.
  • Current forklift license (not mandatory).
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
