Warehouse Operations Manager

The key responsibilities of the Warehouse Operations Manager include setting up and overseeing the operational management of facilities for storing and distributing materials, including staff recruitment and personnel management to meet contractual requirements. This role involves developing and implementing effective strategies and procedures for inventory management to support operations.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in warehouse management within a defence environment, with strong communication skills and a proven track record of leading high-performing teams. Essential skills and qualifications include:
- Significant experience in warehouse management within a defence environment;
- Strong communication skills;
- A proven track record of leading high-performing teams;
- Experience in logistics, warehousing & distribution, or a relevant discipline;
- Inventory control, asset management, supply chain and procurement knowledge;
- SAP experience is highly desirable;
