Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Projects Officer to join our dynamic Genome Insights team. Our team uses cutting-edge cloud-native genomics for health research.

The Australian e-Health Research Centre is delivering innovation to the health system. As technology and data volumes surge to improve our understanding of health and life sciences, the medical industry faces unprecedented challenges.

Your key responsibilities will include developing and evaluating innovative concepts, theories, tools, and techniques related to genomic data analysis, genomic variant prioritisation, population and environmental genomics and pharmacogenomics.

Key areas of focus include designing, developing and adapting experimental methods and systems, software and/or user experience, requiring high levels of initiative, ingenuity and skills.

We are looking for an individual with a minimum qualification of a Bachelor's degree, and/or an equivalent combination of qualifications and work experience in a relevant field such as Bioinformatics or Statistical Genetics.
