Genomics Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Genomics Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our research team, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of advanced computational techniques for analyzing large-scale genomic data.

Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and implement cutting-edge computational methods for analyzing complex genomic data. This will involve:

  • Developing and applying novel algorithms for genomic data analysis
  • Collaborating with researchers to integrate computational findings into actionable clinical strategies
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in computational biology, machine learning, and genomics

You will also be responsible for mentoring junior researchers and contributing to the development of research projects and collaborations. To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A PhD or MD in a relevant area (e.g., bioinformatics, computational biology, genomics)
  • 2+ years of experience in computational biology or a related field
  • Extensive experience with computational biology techniques (e.g., genome assembly, variant calling)
  • Demonstrated evidence of research leadership and publication of primary research in leading journals
