We seek an experienced Event Partnership Officer to play a pivotal role in managing and delivering a portfolio of major events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a diverse sponsorship portfolio of major events under the guidance of the Program Leader – Major Events.
  • Ensure these events not only succeed but deliver positive economic benefits and a strong return on investment for both Council and the local community.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including event organizers, sponsors, and vendors.
  • Coordinate logistics and technical aspects of events, ensuring seamless execution.
Requirements:
  • Possess tertiary qualifications in a related field, such as Events Management, Marketing or Tourism at a Bachelor Degree level.
  • Experience managing Funding or Partnership Agreements including the delivery of sponsorship benefits.
  • Well-founded understanding of the events industry, including technical and logistical aspects.
