About us

Cape York Partnership is a non-profit Indigenous organisation empowering the people of Cape York. Our partnership consists of 10+ entities and initiatives working on areas of policy, empowerment, education, employment, health, language and culture. We co-design all our initiatives with the people of Cape York so they can lead the changes they need for their communities to prosper.

About the role

In any given week, you might write a feature story, photograph an event, shoot and edit a video, craft social posts, monitor our channels, publish a storis online or travel to a remote community to capture content.

You'll use your exceptional relationship management skills to liaise with a variety of stakeholders and have a knowledge of Australian Indigenous culture to communicate effectively with this audience.

We don't expect you to be an expert in everything. We value potential, creativity and a willingness to learn. You'll have access to professional development and on-the-job training to strengthen your skills.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island people are strongly encouraged to apply.
