Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team in Liverpool, NSW. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients, employers, and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services and support individuals in achieving return-to-work outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage client caseloads and develop personalized rehabilitation plans to address physical and psychological barriers to employment.
- Collaborate with employers and employees to design and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.
- Conduct assessments and provide clinical expertise to support treatment plans and address psychosocial barriers to employment.
- Work across various schemes, including workers' compensation, compulsory third-party, life insurance, and employer-funded injury prevention programs.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients to achieve return-to-health and return-to-work outcomes.
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling.
- General or Provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist or eligibility for Associate or Full membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC) or Rehabilitation Counselling Association of Australia (RCAA) as a Rehabilitation Counsellor.
- Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly regarded.
- Fabulous communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Compassion, kindness, and empathy are essential qualities for this role.
- Well-developed time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A current NSW Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance are mandatory.
