Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team in Liverpool, NSW. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients, employers, and medical professionals to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Case management and coordination of rehabilitation services;
  • Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return-to-work outcomes;
  • Developing and implementing injury prevention and workplace education programs;
  • Collaborating with injured workers, employers, and medical professionals to achieve optimal outcomes;
  • Working across various schemes, including workers' compensation, compulsory third party, and employer-funded injury prevention programs;
  • Assisting clients to achieve return-to-health and return-to-work outcomes through a range of assessments and interventions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling;
  • General or Provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist or eligibility for Associate or Full membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC) or Rehabilitation Counselling Association of Australia (RCAA) as a Rehabilitation Counsellor;
  • Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry;
  • Fabulous communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, employers, and medical professionals;
  • Compassion, kindness, and empathy in your interactions with clients;
  • Well-developed time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively;
  • A current NSW Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance.
