About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at WorkFocus Australia.

As a Rehabilitation Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping individuals achieve their wellness and recovery goals. You will work closely with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and develop rehabilitation plans to improve functional performance, independence, and work capacity.
  • Design and implement intervention programs using occupation to enhance client outcomes.
  • Identify barriers and develop strategies to support clients in achieving maximal work participation.
  • Understand various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empower clients to achieve their goals.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and other professionals to ensure successful outcomes.
Requirements
  • Qualifications and registration in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, or Exercise Physiology (AHPRA, ESSA).
  • Ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality customer service.
  • Willingness to work in the community and have a valid driver's license.
  • Current or ability to obtain a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
