Job Title: Commercial Contract Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled commercial contract specialist to join our team in Adelaide. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing and ensuring compliance with client contracts throughout the project/s.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and ensure compliance with client contract throughout the project/s
  • Oversee project start up, procurement, delivery and project close out
  • Liaise with internal team and external stakeholders
  • Prepare and submit monthly progress claims to the client
  • Manage subcontractors from onboarding to claim assessments
  • Monitor commissioning activities including documentation
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure adherence to procedures, policies, and contractual obligations
  • Maintain relevant registers that track and substantiate the projects commercial position
  • Contribute to the project commercial strategy and drive commercial outcomes

About You:

  • You have an understanding of the risks and opportunities associated with all project contractual agreements
  • You have sound working knowledge of project administration and project control
  • You possess analytical skills and high attention to detail
  • You hold a relevant tertiary qualification
  • You have positive negotiation, conflict and influencing skills
  • You have written and oral communication skills with an ability to present information to a range of audiences
  • You have proficiency in the MS Office Suite, intermediate to advanced Excel skills
