Our company is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Specialist to join our team in Adelaide. This key role will be responsible for managing and supporting the contract administration for a portfolio of civil and infrastructure projects.

The Opportunity

This is an exceptional opportunity to take on a challenging and dynamic commercial role within a leading construction company.

  • Manage contract administration across a diverse portfolio of projects
  • Prepare and administer head contracts and subcontracts in collaboration with project teams
  • Oversee procurement processes, including scopes of work and contract execution
  • Lead the administration of variations, claims, delays, extensions of time and progress payments
  • Drive accountability in monthly reports, support forecasting and track project financial performance
  • Ensure contractual compliance and proactively manage commercial risk
  • Work closely with Project Managers to drive commercial outcomes

About You:

  • Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Law, Engineering or similar
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in a contracts or commercial role within civil or infrastructure sectors
  • Demonstrate technical and persuasive writing skills, with the ability to draft and review contract documentation, variation claims and commercial correspondence clearly and effectively
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Standard and bespoke contract
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of organisation, initiative and attention to detail
  • Strong ability to build rapport and influence outcomes across multiple stakeholder groups
