We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate eye care professional to provide exceptional service to our clients in Daylesford. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality eyecare and are looking for a rewarding part-time role.
- Our ideal candidate will have the ability to provide comprehensive eye examinations, prescriptions sunglasses, spectacle frames, contact lenses, and eye health care for the whole family.
- They must also possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a passion for optical style and fashion.
- Carry out thorough eye examinations and provide accurate prescriptions for corrective lenses.
- Recommend suitable eyewear options, including prescription sunglasses, spectacle frames, and contact lenses.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and best practices in eye care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear advice and support throughout their treatment.
- Relevant qualification in optometry, such as a Bachelor of Optometry or equivalent.
- At least two years' practical experience in eye care, preferably in a similar role.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients and colleagues alike.
