About The Roles
A new Persistent Pain Service is opening, and we are seeking experienced Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists with strong interests in managing people with Persistent Pain to lead this development.
About The Roles
The service will initially operate as a 6-month fixed-term contract, during which time the successful applicants will work alongside Medical and Nursing teams to develop and grow the service. The expected outcome is that the role will continue past the initial 6 months and become a permanent position within the wider Rehabilitation Team.
Requirements
- Must have tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA
- Experience with managing Persistent Pain is highly desirable, and a strong interest in the area is essential.
- Ability to effectively plan, implement, and evaluate rehabilitation programs
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required.
