Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist to join our team in a Persistent Pain Service role.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work alongside Medical and Nursing teams to develop and grow the service.
The successful applicant will have experience in managing individuals with Persistent Pain and demonstrate strong clinical skills, as well as exceptional communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The role involves working autonomously and participating as a member of a multidisciplinary team to address functional, equipment and service needs of clients in the rehabilitation setting.
Service provision mainly comprises inpatient services and acute care for individuals and groups.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset, a passion for client care, and a high standard of customer-focused service.
You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required.
Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy and registration with AHPRA
- Experience with the management of Persistent Pain is highly desirable
- Ability to effectively plan, implement and evaluate rehabilitation programs
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required
