Therapist for Persistent Pain Service

We are seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Therapist with a strong interest in the management of people with persistent pain to join our multidisciplinary team at Southport Private Hospital.
The successful applicant will demonstrate an ability to manage a diverse caseload and work autonomously, as well as actively participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team, to address functional, equipment and service needs of the client population in the rehabilitation setting.
- A tertiary qualification in occupational therapy or physiotherapy and registration with AHPRA is required.
- Experience with the management of persistent pain is highly desirable, and a strong interest in the area is essential.
- Ability to effectively plan, implement and evaluate rehabilitation programs.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required.
- Commitment to professional development and maintenance of current evidence-based practice.

Requirements
Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months. According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
