Regional Community Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Community Manager to join our Stockland Halcyon team in Victoria. As a key member of our community operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple Halcyon communities, fostering positive relationships with stakeholders, and driving initiatives that create community dynamics and support a positive and enduring relationship between homeowners and Halcyon.
Key Responsibilities- Manage community operations in compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Work closely with Community Managers to manage stakeholder expectations, understand homeowner lifestyle needs, and resolve concerns.
- Monitor external party agreements and contracts to ensure best service and financial outcomes for Halcyon.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with homeowners, contractors, and service providers.
- Manage recruitment needs for Community Managers and Community Administrators and aid in recruitment of Facility Caretakers.
- Drive initiatives that create community dynamics and support a positive and enduring relationship between homeowners and Halcyon.
- Assist Project Directors during new community ramp-up by providing advice, training, operational alignment, and support to the Community Manager, Facility Caretaker, and homeowners.
- Provide mentorship, motivation, and training to community employees.
We are looking for a passionate and empathetic people-person with stakeholder relationship and people management skills. You will have experience from a background such as over 50's community, Retirement Living, Hotel/Resort, or Community Services industry or similar with an operational focus. You will be a people leader with proven experience in developing, mentoring, and managing people. You will be community-minded, service-oriented, with a can-do and hands-on approach. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with building relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will have exposure and knowledge in financial and budget management and report preparation. You will be proficient in computer literacy, including the use of MS Office Suite. A tertiary qualification in business management, community services, or similar is desirable. Knowledge of legislative requirements, processes, statutory, and regulatory frameworks relating to all aspects of manufactured/residential homes will be beneficial.
