Found People is seeking a skilled Structural Steel Estimator to join our team. This prominent structural steel fabricator is a significant supplier of structural steel for diverse clientele, encompassing industrial, commercial, and residential sectors.

About the Role

Due to continued growth and increasing numbers of structural steel projects, we are looking for a Structural Steel Estimator to price, quote, and estimate for industrial, commercial, and mining sectors projects. You will also maintain and liaise directly with customers, ensuring delivery timelines and warehouse coordination accuracy are maintained, including developing further relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Price, quote, and estimate for industrial, commercial, and mining sectors projects.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
  • Develop and maintain accurate estimates and quotes.
  • Ensure delivery timelines and warehouse coordination accuracy are maintained.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of estimation experience from a steel fabrication company in Australia.
  • Strong knowledge of structural steel products and applications.
  • Able to manage and develop client relationships.
  • Ability to understand and read construction drawings essential.
  • AutoCAD knowledge a strong advantage.
