About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator and Permitting Coordinator to join our site-based Projects Team. As the successful candidate, you will provide estimating and permitting for the Modifications Project Management Systems program.

This role requires a strong understanding of the program and the ability to develop detailed estimates and obtain relevant documentation to support them. You will also be responsible for communicating with key stakeholders, presenting completed estimates, and structuring estimates to suit all permit requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and understand scope of work and associated drawings
  • Plan and develop detailed estimates and obtain relevant documentation
  • Communicate with key stakeholders and present completed estimates
  • Structure estimates to suit all permit requirements
  • Develop SAP work orders, risk assessments, permits, and Isolation certificates
  • Provide estimate and execution plan to Project Planner to build Primavera P6
  • Ensure Lesson Learnt are documented through Estimating and Reporting process
  • Raise trends to support project execution
  • Timely recognition of potential schedule and cost deviations
  • Provide support as Supervision if required
About You

We are looking for a collaborative team player with experience in Project Estimating and a strong understanding of E/I trades. You will have a proven track record of working in Heavy Industry, Oil and Gas, and have EEHA qualifications. You will also have intermediate computing and Microsoft office skills, as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks in restricted timeframes.

Requirements:

  • Preferred experience in a Project Estimating role
  • 5 – 10+ years as E/I tradesperson
  • 5+ years' experience in Heavy Industry, Oil and Gas preferred, with EEHA qualifications
  • Intermediate computing and Microsoft office skills
  • Capability and flexibility to handle multiple tasks in restricted timeframes
  • Prior experience and demonstrated ability to perform within a team environment
  • SAP experience
  • Able to read drawings – P&ID's, single lines, schematics
  • Permit and Isolation certificate development experience
