High-Level Legal Advisor

This is an exciting chance to join our Corporate Services Division as a senior solicitor.
The office of the university solicitor delivers expert legal services across CQUniversity, supporting the University's operations through advice on contracts, compliance, property matters, litigation, and broader regulatory obligations.
Main Responsibilities- Providing timely, practical legal advice to support the University's operations
- Managing complex legal matters, including contracts, compliance, and litigation
- Supporting the university solicitor on key projects and priorities
You will be a confident and collaborative legal professional, ideally with experience in large or complex organisations.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Being admitted as a solicitor in Australia, with at least five years' post-admission experience
- Having a current unregistered Queensland Law Society Practising Certificate, or eligibility to obtain one
- Holding strong knowledge of Australian commercial and administrative law
- Demonstrated legal experience in complex organisations, ideally within higher education
