Job Title: Senior Legal Team Manager
Job SummaryThis senior-level role involves managing day-to-day legal operations and supervising a team of solicitors. The successful candidate will represent the organization in legal settings, provide support to colleagues, and develop strategic relationships with stakeholders.
About You- You are an experienced solicitor with 4 years post-admission experience in a relevant practice area.
- You have expertise working within fields such as DFSV, family law, or child protection, and familiarity with NT legislation.
- You have demonstrated ability to work in trauma-informed, culturally responsive ways, and experience working with Aboriginal communities.
We are looking for a highly skilled professional who can effectively manage a team and contribute to our organization's success.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage day-to-day legal operations and supervise a team of solicitors.
- Represent the organization in legal settings and develop strategic relationships with stakeholders.
- Provide support to colleagues and contribute to the development of the team.
Please note that this role requires travel for outreach activities and overnight stays may be necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Admitted as a solicitor in Australia and eligible to hold a Northern Territory Practising Certificate.
- Leadership and mentoring experience within a legal practice.
- Excellent legal writing, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
