Job Overview

CQUniversity seeks a Senior Solicitor to safeguard operations, deliver timely legal advice and manage complex matters within the Corporate Services Division.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Admitted as a Solicitor in Australia with at least five years' post-admission experience
  • Current unregistered Queensland Law Society Practising Certificate or eligibility to obtain one
  • Strong knowledge of Australian commercial and administrative law

The ideal candidate will possess strong legal expertise, excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. They will also have demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate commercial contracts, as well as represent clients in legal proceedings.
