About The Job

Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Working with various metals including brass, copper, mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
  • TIG Welding
  • MIG Welding
  • Sheet fabrication
  • Profile fabrication
  • Grinding and blending your welds

Responsibilities:

  • Reading architectural, technical, and shop drawings
  • Preparing material orders
  • Providing feedback to your production manager about job progress
  • Working within tight but fair timeframes
  • Quality control
  • Performing minor site measurements and installations (majority of work is factory-based)

Role Requirements:

  • Relevant trade qualification or 3 years relevant experience; testing will be part of the trial
  • Hands-on experience and knowledge of architectural metalwork fabrication
  • Ability to work to tolerances of ±1mm
  • Attention to detail and high-quality standards
  • Good communication skills
