Cafe Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cafe Supervisor to lead our team and drive the success of our newly developing Cafe operation.

  • As a Cafe Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the cafe, including ordering stock and supplies, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring compliance with food safety and allergen management procedures.
  • You will work closely with the kitchen team to create daily and weekly specials, and collaborate with staff to provide exceptional customer experiences.
  • In this role, you will also have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills by mentoring and training a small team of hospitality professionals.

The Ideal Candidate

  • We are looking for a candidate with strong barista experience and the ability to lead a team. You should be able to engage with a diverse clientele, from parents to school executives, and possess a strong understanding of coffee and customer preferences.
  • A Working with Children Check or ability to obtain one is highly desirable.
  • You should have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
