About the Role

As a Department Supervisor at JD Sports, you will play a key role in driving sales results and delivering exceptional customer service.

Your primary responsibility will be to lead your department in achieving business objectives while maintaining high visual standards. You will be responsible for coaching and developing your team to deliver outstanding in-store experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills and inspiring your team to do the same.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge and stay up-to-date with brand information to effectively communicate with customers.
  • Collaborate with the management team to drive financial performance within your department and achieve sales targets.
  • Work closely with the back-of-house team to ensure product availability and manage stock levels.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in retail or a related field.
  • A proven track record of driving sales growth and exceeding KPIs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
